As the Communications Specialist for RBC’s largest multi-national systems integration project to date, she was responsible for the internal and external communications.
This involved migration of over 40 sites across the globe and a core project team of over 200. Key to this implementation was development of an internet portal which served hundreds of users worldwide and functioned as a foundation for the change management program. The project won Project World’s Project of the Year award in 2005.
Through an intensive year long project and a total of 9 weeks formal training from two leading US Six Sigma consulting firms, Bianca has obtained her Lean Six Sigma Black Belt designation to add to her professional credentials. Six Sigma is a data driven, client centred, problem solving methodology that has been hugely successful in accelerating improvements in processes, products, and services and to radically reduce production and administrative costs and improve quality. The "Lean" component of this designation refers to the blend of Six Sigma practice which incorporates the Lean production principles pioneered by Toyota. The core of lean principles seek to banish waste from all processes and focus organizations only on steps which add defined value to the customer. Bianca looks forward to aplying the power of the Lean Six Sigma tools and her strategic planning skills to assist her new clients in maximizing the potential of their internet/intranet/extranet sites.
