As part of the assessment, we will investigate and evaluate your principal site or portal, and other related sites, and rate and provide recommendations according to six principal criteria:

• Look-And-Feel
• Ease-Of-Use (Usability)
• Layout
• Content
• Tools and Innovation
• Planning And Resources

Strengths and weaknesses are identified for each of the criterion and scored on a scale of 1-10. An overall rating is then applied. Benchmark case studies are used as a baseline for determining evaluation scores.

Prior to evaluating the principal site/portal, we'll spend several hours identifying and documenting business, stakeholder and user requirements. As part of this exercise, we will conduct requirements and feedback interviews with your key intranet stakeholders (3 – 5 on average).
 
Upon completion of the analysis and requirements exercises, Prescient will undertake a benchmarking exercise where we will benchmark and compare your site versus other leading sites and portals such as those of Cisco Systems, Microsoft, Bank One, Ford, and others.
 
At the conclusion of the exercise, Prescient will integrate the key learnings into a thorough report of tangible and substantive recommendations for evolving your site into a leading-edge business system. If need be, we’ll even develop a presentation for your executive team or sponsors.
 
Prior to commencing the assessment, Prescient will send a questionnaire for completion so that we might learn the general details of your corporate intranet in advance of the one-day consultation (details including strategic goals, metrics, number of users, average access speeds, etc.).
